Cold plasma

Rejuvenating procedure "Salamander Touch"

In ancient myths, the fiery salamander, by touching the body, worked wonders, healing people, rejuvenating them, and making them more beautiful...

Similarly, Cold Plasma, like the fiery salamander, in just a few days, without surgery, miraculously tightens and firms the skin around the eyes, eliminates fine and deep wrinkles, pigmentation spots, significantly smoothens the unevenness on the face after acne and chickenpox, removes scars, sagging postpartum abdomens, stretch marks, and eliminates papillomas. After this procedure, the process of producing new collagen is powerfully launched, self-rejuvenation occurs.

Cold plasma is ionized neutral gas, with a temperature of 30-40 degrees. But Cold Plasma exposure includes not only gas but also active molecules, charged particles, heat, and low-power UV radiation. It is sufficient for benefits but too little for harm—this power is calculated according to this principle.

What is cold plasma in cosmetology?
Unlike the classical plasma lifting procedure, where patients are injected subcutaneously with their own blood plasma to stimulate metabolic processes and skin lifting, cold plasma lifting is a non-invasive procedure.

Cold plasma in cosmetology is an apparatus technique for rejuvenation and elimination of various age-related changes.
It is carried out using a special device similar to a pen, which, to achieve a rejuvenating effect, uses ionized particles that are converted into weak current. Under its punctual action, biological tissue heats up to a safe 40°C.

As a result of this tissue heating, it contracts slightly, collagen and elastin production are stimulated—substances responsible for skin youthfulness and elasticity. The client feels only warmth and slight tingling, no pain. The technique is performed contactlessly with minimal thermal impact on the surface layers of the skin.

When is cold plasma used?
Facial rejuvenation with cold plasma is one of the ways to use the technique. Due to the wide range of action of ionized gas and weak currents, cold plasma also has other positive effects. It is widely used not only in the beauty sphere but also for dermatological treatment.

Here are the purposes of using cold plasma:
Face lifting
Fighting acne and post-acne
Acne treatment
Pigmentation control
Wrinkle reduction and combating age-related changes
"Lifting" of sagging upper eyelids—an alternative to invasive blepharoplasty
Increasing skin firmness and elasticity
Improving sagging facial contours
Combating rosacea
Scar reduction or elimination
In dermatology, the technique is often used for:
  • Nail fungus treatment
  • Removal of unwanted moles and other formations on the skin
  • Treatment of eczema

Due to its active effect on the superficial and middle layers of the skin, as well as its safety, non-invasiveness, and sterility, the cosmetic procedure of cold plasma has proven itself excellently in aesthetic medicine and dermatology. Cold plasma is used as the main way to solve various aesthetic and dermatological problems, as well as an auxiliary procedure to stimulate metabolic processes and accelerate skin regeneration.

For some time, for 2-3 days, redness and swelling will remain on the face—they will go away on their own; this is normal for this method.

After cold plasma rejuvenation, care is simple. During the week, it is necessary to regularly treat the intervened area with antiseptic and moisturizing agents. During this week, it is important to refrain from visiting pools, saunas, or swimming in open water bodies.
Slightly longer, namely for 20 days, avoid direct sunlight exposure, and apply sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.

The number of sessions depends on the client's age and skin type. For clients seeking rejuvenation, 1-2 visits to the cosmetologist may be sufficient. If age-related changes are noticeable, it may take 5-7 sessions with intervals of at least 30 days between them. Cold plasma does not work immediately—the maximum result is seen within 1.5 – 3 months. So, don't be too upset or disappointed if, after getting off the couch, the client doesn't look 10 years younger right away.

Why do you need a plasma lift?
Non-surgical blepharoplasty
Elimination of wrinkles around the eyes (crow's feet)
Elimination of wrinkles around the lips (pouch)
Removal of warts, age spots, fibroids
Post-acne treatment
Removing sagging skin
Postpartum bellies
Scars, stretch marks, small keloid scars
Removing low-quality tattoos

Cold plasma effectively addresses the following issues:

  • Aging and photoaging
  • Acne and post-acne
  • Keratosis
  • Sagging upper eyelid
  • Pronounced wrinkles
  • Scars, scars, and stretch marks
  • Unwanted pigmentation
  • Skin sagging on the face, chin, and body
  • Loss of turgor
  • Tattoos
  • Papillomas

Contraindications:

Oncological diseases, disturbances in the integrity of the epidermis in the treatment area, pregnancy and lactation, menstrual period, epilepsy. Lifting is not performed if there is a pacemaker or an implanted defibrillator in the body. The client should be sent home if they have a fever or if there is an acute phase of an infectious disease. The technology should be applied with caution in cases of hormonal imbalances, as the body may react unpredictably to the intervention.

Advantages of cold plasma lifting:
Undoubtedly, its effectiveness. After all, the result of the procedure can be compared to that of surgical facelift, while the procedure is non-invasive and the risks are minimized.
• Another advantage is that the technique can be applied even on the most sensitive skin of the face — the eyelids and the area around the eyes. Cold plasma is one of the few techniques that eliminates bags under the eyes and sagging eyelids without disrupting tissue integrity. This is why both cosmetologists and their clients love it.
• The advantage mentioned above is the ability of the technology to initiate natural processes of skin regeneration. While rejuvenating, neutral gas has no effect on facial expressions, unlike, for example, botulinum toxin, and does not produce the "porcelain doll" effect. The face looks maximally natural.
Disadvantages of cold plasma lifting:
Among the disadvantages, there are relatively sharp skin reactions immediately after the session. Not everyone likes it when redness, inflammation, swelling, etc., last for two to three days. This is especially unacceptable for people with a busy schedule and for those whose earnings depend directly on their appearance (actresses, models, etc.). Another drawback is that the technology should not be applied to delicate and sensitive skin.
